Factor I: Accountability Core Responsibilities
Work with Global Supply Chain to develop and qualify new suppliers.
Conduct quality surveillance of new suppliers in the region to ensure compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with the Global Quality team to develop supplier quality system and process audit plans and schedules.
Conduct supplier quality system/process audits, part and process qualification, and implement remedial work plans and corrective actions to ensure compliance with agreed requirements.
Support Tryouts, First Article Inspections (FAI), and source inspections.
Ensure high quality of parts delivered by suppliers.
Perform measurements and analysis on deviations from specifications.
Review and follow up on supplier corrective and preventive actions, supplier performance ratings, and SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests).
Monitor and continuously improve supplier quality performance.
Prepare monthly reports on supplier quality and conduct performance reviews with suppliers.
Prepare management reports on supplier quality performance.
AP SQE Leader (Future Scope)
Responsible for Asia Pacific procurement in developing and qualifying new suppliers and maintaining supplier qualifications within the Asia Pacific region in accordance with FCV requirements.
Lead Asia Pacific Supplier Quality teams to conduct quality and technical audits and surveys at suppliers.
Gather supplier quality performance data monthly and maintain, analyse, and publish supplier KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Coordinate with Asia Pacific procurement and plant QA teams to drive and implement corrective actions with suppliers and evaluate the effectiveness of these actions.
Support FCV customer quality surveys and audits at key suppliers.
Global SQE Leader (Future Scope)
Develop and maintain the supplier quality management system for Emerson Flow Control, including quality procedures and supplier lists.
Manage qualification processes for new suppliers and ongoing evaluations of existing suppliers.
Provide functional direction and mentoring to Supplier Quality Engineers.
Work with engineering teams to align part requirements with supplier capabilities.
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to drive year-on-year improvements in supplier KPIs.
Factor II: Knowledge and Skills Qualifications and Experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of foundries, forging, welding, heat treatment, surface treatment, NDE, and machining.
Good understanding of ISO, NACE, PED standards, quality systems, and auditing processes.
ISO Certified Supplier Auditor certification is an advantage.
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
Experience in problem-solving techniques, particularly applicable to small-series production (Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma).
Experience in the valves industry is an added advantage.
Strong team player who is meticulous, self-driven, and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel within Asia Pacific countries.
Factor III: Supervision
Supervisory responsibilities required.
Factor IV: Interface
Reports directly to the Supplier Quality Manager – Global.
Works closely with internal peers and cross-functional managers.
Requires frequent visits to suppliers.

Candidates must possess strong technical and leadership capabilities.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial Manufacturing, or Semiconductor industries is preferred.
Knowledge of dual technical responsibility (mechanical and electrical/electronic) is advantageous.
