Job Summary The Site Supervisor / Senior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising construction activities, and ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Reporting to the Project Manager or Engineer, this role coordinates site manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while supporting project delivery across various regional project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake works in accordance with site-specific HSEQ methodologies, risk assessments, site rules, and company policies and procedures.
Support emergency response activities and ensure proper implementation of established safety procedures together with the Site Safety Supervisor.
Conduct Pre-Task Talks (PTT) for all site activities and ensure compliance with all HSE requirements.
Report daily site activities, project progress, and site issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site workers, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Coordinate with the project team for material deliveries and site logistics.
Monitor and record utilisation of machinery, manpower, plant equipment, and materials, and submit reports to the Site Engineer.
Ensure timely and smooth progress of construction works while recording unproductive time and related causes.
Manage construction activities and maintain workforce schedules to optimise productivity.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and government regulations.
Carry out quality control inspections and prepare quality-related reports.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Technical Expertise
Knowledge of construction site supervision and daily site coordination practices.
Understanding of HSEQ requirements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures within construction environments.
Ability to supervise site workers and subcontractors effectively.
Experience in monitoring construction progress, material coordination, and workforce scheduling.
Strong communication and coordination skills with site teams and project personnel.
Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and accountability.
Qualifications
SPM / O-Level or equivalent qualification.
Professional Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.
Minimum 1–5 years of working experience within the construction industry.
Willingness to travel and work across regional project locations including Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, and other ASEAN/South Asian markets.
Strong commitment to safety and compliance with company HSEQ standards.
