Job Summary The Site Supervisor / Senior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, supervising construction activities, and ensuring works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Reporting to the Project Manager or Engineer, this role coordinates site manpower, subcontractors, materials, and equipment while supporting project delivery across various regional project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Comply with all site HSEQ guidelines, safety requirements, and company policies and procedures.
Conduct initial commissioning checks and deficiency inspections to ensure equipment complies with manufacturer specifications and is fit for operational use.
Perform pre-operational inspections, including cleaning, lubrication, and refilling of machinery and equipment as required.
Report equipment deficiencies, faults, or operational issues to the Site Supervisor or Site Engineer for corrective action.
Safely operate cranes, piling rigs, drilling rigs, excavators, loaders, boring machines, and other assigned construction equipment.
Ensure proper handling and operation of machinery in accordance with operational and safety standards.
Support coordination of site activities with co-workers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Technical Expertise
Sound understanding of foundation and ground engineering construction activities.
Knowledge of safe operation and basic maintenance of heavy construction machinery and equipment.
Understanding of construction site operations and coordination requirements between work teams.
Ability to conduct equipment inspections and identify operational deficiencies.
Strong awareness of HSEQ practices and compliance requirements within construction environments.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
Preferably SPM / O-Level or equivalent qualification.
Must possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
Competency certificates for operating cranes, piling rigs, drilling rigs, or related heavy equipment are an added advantage.
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant working experience in construction or heavy equipment operations.
Willingness to travel and work across regional project locations including Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Thailand, and other ASEAN/South Asian markets.
Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced site environment.
