Job Summary The Senior Associate (Senior Manager) Electrical Design is a technical expert responsible for leading complex, multi-disciplinary electrical engineering design projects across infrastructure and building services. This role serves as a key technical authority, providing advanced domain expertise, guiding project teams, and delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. The position also plays a leadership role in managing project delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction while contributing to business growth and capability development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to electrical engineering design for complex transport infrastructure and building services projects.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and training to engineering teams across all project stages from concept design through to completion.
Oversee design development, contract documentation, authority submissions, site administration, and project delivery activities.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable, and integrated engineering solutions.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Manage project delivery to ensure quality outputs, timely completion, and adherence to approved budgets.
Act as Project In-Charge (PIC) / Project Manager and Registered Qualified Person (QP/PE) for statutory submissions and certifications.
Support business development activities by identifying and securing new project opportunities.
Standardise technical design practices, engineering standards, and performance specifications across the organisation.
Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and submission processes, including LTA, PUB, and BCA.
Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful delivery of complex and large-scale projects.
Technical Expertise
Strong expertise in electrical engineering design for infrastructure and building services projects.
Advanced knowledge of high-voltage systems and complex electrical infrastructure design.
Strong understanding of Singapore Code of Practice and regulatory authority requirements (LTA, PUB, BCA).
Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams on large or mega projects.
Strong project management capability, including cost, schedule, and quality control.
Ability to define technical requirements, solve complex engineering problems, and drive project delivery.
Strong client engagement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
Recognised Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer (Electrical) in Singapore (PEB).
Proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure or building services projects.
Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work across organisational boundaries and deliver successful project outcomes.
