Job Summary
The Automation & Analytics Manager will architect and develop automation and data analytics solutions/products to meet business unit (BU) needs. They will interface with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate BU requirements and facilitate solution design and development of automation and data analytics products.

Key Responsibilities

Digitalisation and Automation:

• Assess human effort that can be automated through engagement with Business Units (BUs).
• Reduce manual effort, optimise processes and provide analytical insights from automation solutions.
• Minimise human error and ensure data governance is implemented for commissioned solutions/products.
• Define product requirements, roadmaps and success metrics with stakeholders. 

Data Analytics Development & Integration:

• Develop a Data Analytics delivery model framework to commercialise Managed Data Analytics, harvesting data from deployed infrastructure to provide insightful data for decision-making processes.
• Optimise models for scalability, latency and cost-efficiency

Data Analytics Performance & Compliance:

• Ensure ethical Data Analytics practices, including bias mitigation, transparency and regulatory compliance (e.g. PDPA, ISMS ISO 27001).
• Monitor and manage post deployment performance and continuously iterate for improvement. 

Team Development & Accountability:

• Conduct required on-the-job training for staff and assign accountabilities for automation or data analytics product development.
• Ensure staff have clear goals and KPIs established, along with individual development plans to support career progression. 

Technical Expertise

• Extensive experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby (and Rails), etc.
• Proficient in Python, Spark, Hadoop.
• Proficient in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, MySQL, Google Sheets, Google Looker Studio, etc.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Experience leading multiple systems integration projects for automation and data analytics development.
• Experience in network device configuration and management using APIs and protocols such as REST API, ICMP, SNMP or SSH.
• Proven track record of architecting, estimating and leading projects end-to-end while meeting customer expectations.
• Strong solution design experience and business acumen.
• Ability to establish operational processes and build Agile/Scrum frameworks for developing automation solutions within a DevOps and CI/CD operating model.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in Network, IP Packet and Cloud Technologies.
• 3-5 years of experience in automation and data analytics tools development with hands-on product development and deployment.
• Degree in Data Science, Engineering, IT or equivalent. 
• Professional Certification - any of the below will be advantageous: Certified Data Analyst, Data Science, others as related.
