Job Summary
The Internal Recruiter is responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment activities to support business growth and project delivery requirements. This role focuses on attracting, sourcing, assessing, and securing high-quality talent across engineering, design, construction, and corporate functions. The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to deliver effective recruitment solutions while maintaining a positive candidate experience and building strong talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through to offer management and onboarding coordination.
- Source and attract qualified candidates through headhunting, direct sourcing, networking, LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to evaluate suitability against job requirements.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements, hiring priorities, and recruitment strategies.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and ensure timely communication with candidates and stakeholders.
- Manage recruitment data, reports, and hiring metrics to support workforce planning and decision-making.
- Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen the organisation’s talent attraction efforts.
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Participate in recruitment campaigns, career fairs, industry networking events, and talent attraction activities as required.
- Maintain compliance with internal recruitment policies, processes, and employment regulations.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, efficiency, and candidate engagement
Technical Expertise - Strong expertise in full-cycle recruitment, talent acquisition, and candidate assessment methodologies.
- Proven experience in headhunting, direct sourcing, cold calling, and talent mapping.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise hiring managers.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, market mapping, and talent attraction strategies.
- Experience recruiting within engineering, construction, consultancy, or project-based environments is highly advantageous.
- Prior exposure to design and engineering consultancy recruitment will be an added advantage.
Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing and hiring candidates across technical and professional disciplines.
- Results-oriented with a proactive, consultative, and service-driven approach to recruitment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage competing hiring demands effectively.
