Job Summary The Country Manager Indonesia is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of business operations within the assigned country, with full accountability for overall performance. Reporting directly to senior management, this role ensures the development and execution of a clear business strategy, aligned goals, and effective actions to position the organisation as the preferred service provider for clients. The role also involves close collaboration with regional and international operating locations to ensure strategic alignment, operational compliance, introduction of new technologies and services, and sustainable business growth through strong client engagement and value-based pricing.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement country-level business strategies to maximise market share, revenue growth, pricing optimisation, and profitability in line with corporate objectives.
Monitor market trends, client needs, competitive landscape, and identify new business and growth opportunities.
Act as a brand ambassador, strengthening brand presence and reputation within the market.
Oversee daily operational activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery to clients.
Ensure effective contract management, including project execution, performance monitoring, reporting, and upselling of services and products.
Implement robust operational risk management practices by identifying, assessing, and mitigating key risks.
Maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, authorities, and key stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations, including governance, record keeping, and operating policies.
Manage and optimise company assets, equipment maintenance, inventory levels, and material replenishment to support operational requirements.
Lead preparation, review, and approval of business tenders and bids in accordance with delegation of authority levels.
Oversee financial performance, including budget planning, revenue forecasting, cash flow, credit control, cost management, and capital expenditure planning.
Ensure effective internal and external communication of business goals, direction, and performance updates.
Collaborate with global product and sales teams to introduce new products and services, while providing market and customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
Lead talent acquisition, workforce development, performance management, succession planning, and manpower cost optimisation.
Champion Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) policies through leadership, audits, reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Demonstrate ethical leadership, participate in leadership development programmes, and foster a high-performance, team-oriented culture.
Technical Expertise

Proven ability to manage complex operations, personnel, and multi-functional teams.
Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development, tendering, and contract management.
Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.

Sound understanding of QHSE standards, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices.
Qualifications
Degree in Science or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry, including technical field operations and business management roles.
